Reherseals will be held at the International Institute. We can agree on time.

Chosen actors will be notified on Monday, Jan 18 and then reherseal will start that Saturday for introduction and a reading through.

Jan 30 we’ll probably go for roughly three hours for script read through,
Saturday Feb 6, 13, 20 for five hours, with movements and interaction between cast.

Then starting the week of Feb 22, 29, March 1 we go to 3 days per week of 5 hours with March 8 week performance in the theatre and that Thursday preview night with opening that Friday the 12th. Understandibly some reherseals are dedicated to certain actors and so everybody will not be required to attend, We will try to accomodate your schedule as much as possible.

Now after actors selection we will talk individually to discuss pay. We are not a union house.

The actual performances are Friday, matinee and evening show on Saturday and afternoon Sunday, March 12 weekend, at Bushnell Congregational Church 320 seats(Southfield Fwy. at Grand River) the same for March 26 weekend at Waldor School 300 seats (Indian
Village) and April 9 weekend at St. Gregory’s Church (Southfield Fwy at 9 Mile) 400 seats for only 3 shows no matinee.

We intend to shoot a movie of the play altering the script some and using actual locations, in June.
We might tour the play to venues in Pontiac, Inkster, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor.

Hopefully this gives to a great idea of the committment. I am easy to get along and open to suggestions to make this a great production. In short, to form a family atmosphere where you’ll enjoy working.

Foot Soldiers was first staged in June 2008 to rave reviews. I have learned from that experience.
